PPM University is a veteran-owned PMI Authorized Training Partner based in Chicago.
We deliver certification training, coaching, and corporate enablement for project professionals and the organizations that depend on them. Our programs cover PMP certification, AI project management, and PMO leadership.
We were built to fill the gaps the existing certification ecosystem left open, and we design every program around the work practitioners are actually being asked to do.
PPM University exists because too many capable professionals get passed over for leadership roles when the credentials available to them do not reflect the work they are already doing. We saw that gap from inside enterprise delivery, and we built a university to close it.
We are a PMI Authorized Training Partner, which means our PMP program is authorized to satisfy the 35 contact hours requirement. We are also a Planview partner, delivering implementation and enablement services for organizations standing up or scaling portfolio management capability.
Beyond the authorized programs, we develop our own. The ALIGN360-AI Framework is our proprietary six-phase, four-enabler methodology for the project leader's role in AI delivery. It is the foundation of the SAIPM-CP certification and the spine of our corporate advisory work.
Practitioners pursuing the PMP, moving into AI delivery, or stepping into leadership. Live cohorts, direct coaching, and credentials that reflect current practice.
Companies that need more than a training catalog. We operate as an extension of your PMO through Training Enablement as a Service, private cohorts, and ongoing capability development.
Leaders building the operating model, governance, and value reporting that turn a PMO into an executive asset. Delivered through private corporate engagements.
A certification that does not change how you operate is a line on a resume. We build programs around what practitioners will actually do with the material, and we hold the standard there.
That commitment shapes every decision we make about format, cohort size, and instruction.
Every program runs as a live virtual cohort with direct instructor access. Not recordings. Not self-paced modules with a discussion board attached.
Our instruction comes from people who have carried enterprise delivery responsibility, not from career trainers working off a slide deck.
Cohorts stay small enough for coaching to be real. Accountability, feedback, and direct answers to the questions that keep people stuck.
Every program produces something you can use at work immediately. Playbooks, toolkits, governance artifacts, and frameworks you apply to live initiatives.

Two decades of program management across healthcare IT, financial services, software implementation, and construction.

Xavier spent two decades inside enterprise delivery, most recently as an Associate Principal Program Manager, leading complex programs across healthcare IT, software implementation, construction, and enterprise transformation.
She founded PPM University after watching capable practitioners get held back by credentials that did not reflect their work. She created the ALIGN360-AI Framework, serves as a PMI PMO of the Year Award Judge, and is a United States Army veteran.
She leads the company and teaches in the classroom. Every program carries the same standard she held in enterprise delivery.
PPM University was not built to compete with the existing certification ecosystem. It was built to fill the gaps. The PMP teaches you to manage projects. Nothing taught you to govern AI delivery or how to manage projects with a strategic lens. Those gaps cost talented professionals opportunities every day.
We are especially committed to practitioners who face credential barriers on the way to leadership, including veterans and professionals from underrepresented backgrounds. The work is already being done. The credential should reflect it.
Live cohorts run on a rolling schedule for individuals. Corporate engagements are scoped around your capability goals and your calendar.
